Putting Health Front and Center at Anthology Together

With an exciting program lined up, the first female Thunderbird Pilot, Nicole Malachowski, recently announced as keynote speaker, and registration numbers rising by the day, Anthology is preparing to make a splash at its first ever user conference this July. Presented at the Gaylord Texan Resort and Convention Center just outside of Dallas, the company is taking a much-needed step toward pre-COVID normalcy with an immersive and collaborative in-person experience. Suffice it to say, the Anthology Together 2021 experience will be anything other than ordinary.

“For most of our higher ed customers, as well as our own team members, this will be the first time in over a year that they will be meeting face-to-face,” acknowledged Chief Marketing Officer, Susan Scholes. “We are incredibly excited to have an opportunity to bring people together for a memorable and impactful in-person program. We are working hard to make sure our attendees can enjoy the experience in an environment where they feel both safe and comfortable.”

Anthology has released a robust safety protocol, assuring that all CDC guidelines will be followed at Anthology Together, along with a number of additional health precautions mandated by the company itself. Health & Wellness have also been made an integral part of the daily itinerary, with an emphasis on fitness, relaxation and even meditation.

Safety first

With the COVID-19 situation constantly evolving, Anthology is keeping a close eye on the numbers and guidelines, making safety the number one priority at this summer’s event. The goal is simple—to offer attendees a meaningful in-person experience, while also keeping the risk as low as possible.

The Gaylord Texan Resort & Convention Center has confirmed they will be observing all recommended health and safety regulations during the Anthology Together conference, including social distancing, face masks and hand sanitization. The full Health and Safety Cleanliness Standards at the Gaylord Texan, as well as more details on the Marriot’s guidelines are available.

Plenty of room to breathe

Anthology Together will have exclusive access to the entire conference complex at the Gaylord Texan Resort & Convention Center, which means there will be more than enough space to follow safe social distancing guidelines. In fact, event coordinators have confirmed that the available space is more than three-times what would have been needed pre-COVID, allowing attendees the experience of being together, while still maintaining a healthy distance.

Anthology will go above and beyond

In addition to the precautions set forth by the Gaylord Texan Resort & Convention Center, Anthology has announced it will be implementing a number of additional protocols, to make sure that health and safety are inherent in every aspect of the event. From additional hand sanitizing stations, to grab-and-go meals, to strategically planned sessions that will limit both movement and contact between attendees, the company plans to take every possible precaution to minimize risk and maximize the experience.

Health and Wellness will be part of each day

Anthology Together will also offer attendees a variety of opportunities for activity, movement and engagement. Because it’s not all about business—it’s also about fun!

  • Group fitness
    • Group fitness classes will be offered (properly distanced, of course) before programming kicks off on Tuesday and Wednesday mornings. Participants can get their blood flowing with Yoga and Zumba—all abilities welcome.
  • Walk/Run
    • The Gaylord Texan Resort has several easily accessible running, jogging and walking trails on site. Trail maps will be available, and attendees will be encouraged to explore on their own or meet up with a group at a designated time and location.
  • Meditation Room
    • Say goodbye to stress and anxiety in a designated quiet, “tech-free” space. Attendees will have a chance to put up their feet, take a deep breath and unwind throughout the day.
  • Step Competition
    • Attendees will be able to register for a step competition! Participants will be asked to monitor their own fitness tracker and submit stats periodically throughout the day. All competitors, attendees and staff members alike, will have their progress and real-time standing tracked on digital leaderboards displayed throughout the conference.
  • Healthy snacks and meal options
    • Delicious and nutritious snack and meal options will be available daily to fuel the mind and body.
  • Access to Resort amenities
    • Attendees who take advantage of the hotel group rate will also have access to the resort’s onsite amenities, including: a 24-hour fitness center, indoor lap pool, outdoor pool and whirlpool, and sauna.

Registration for Anthology Together 2021 is open now until June 25.
